Youth Linx

YouthLinx is an exciting, fun and innovative program for Young People aged 11 to 16 and their Families.

The project has two key features:

  • To facilitate activities and groups for Young People predominantly outside of school hours, such as afternoons and school holidays. These activities range from fairly structured groups, to slightly less formal outings all the way through to informal "drop-in" time.
  • To provide support, opportunities and practical information to Young People and their Families. This support is delivered through a flexible approach, and tailored to meet those needs identified by the Young Person and/or Family. It may incorporate one on one case management, guest speakers, group activities and support accessing more specialised services.

Both these elements of the YouthLinx project aim to enhance the capacity and resilience of young people; strengthen the resilience of their families; and increase young people's connection to the community.
